Intimate Gathering Space in Porter Square

Welcome to our Intimate Space in Porter Square! Our Intimate Space in Porter Square is a 487 sq ft, two-room creative gathering space for up to 35 people. Perfect for birthday parties, baby showers, rehearsals, performances, coworking sessions, workshops, meditation, art classes, art galleries, album releases and more! Its unique split-level setup is ideal for bringing people together while facilitating separate spaces. The street-level bottom room gets bright light during the day and is great for a small concert, comedy show, reading, or pop-up store. The more intimate lounge space up the stairs can be used as an extension space for whatever is going on downstairs, and on its own is a great space for more private meetings and work sessions. A variety of lighting options adapt the space for both daytime and nighttime activities. Our Intimate Space in Porter Square is here to be enjoyed creatively and you are welcome to move around any of the furniture to adapt the space to your needs! There are a few amenities, but this is meant to be a space that you would set up independently. Please bring what you need to have a great event. Amenities include: -8 folding chairs -two folding 6-foot x 2 foot banquet tables -a 3.1 cubic foot mini fridge -WiFi -5 armchairs Timing your booking: When planning your time at our Intimate Space in Porter Square, please ensure your booking includes all the time you will need for setting up, enjoying the space, wrapping up, and clearing out. Please plan to be fully done with all clean-up etc. by the scheduled end time. Any time spent beyond the scheduled end time will subsequently be added to your booking in hour increments. Accessibility: There are two steps with a combined rise of about one foot to enter the ground level. Unfortunately, we do not have a ramp or enough clearance for a ramp. To get to the second level, which is where the bathroom is, there are eight steps with a single handrail on the left if going up, and on the right if going down. Cleaning: Please leave the space as you found it. We will come by and clean the space after use, but this is more for disinfecting, restocking and making sure the space is ready for the next client. If the space needs a more detailed clean, we will hire a cleaning service and you will be charged for that. Note: Our Intimate Space in Porter Square is located in a mixed-use commercial and residential building on a mostly residential street. Out of respect for our neighbors, all events must end by the listed closing times.
