The City Tower Leipzig

The City Tower, also known as the Uniriese, Wisdom Tooth or Panorama Tower, is the tallest office building and a striking landmark of the city of Leipzig. With an impressive height of 142.5 meters, it was the tallest skyscraper in Germany until 1972. The modern building, which has been continuously renovated since 2001, has 34 floors and a publicly accessible viewing platform from which visitors can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city. The building also houses the Panorama Tower "Plate of Art" restaurant. The City Tower is centrally located on Augustusplatz in the heart of Leipzig, right in the city center. The skyscraper has excellent public transport connections. It is only a short walk from important transport hubs, the main train station is about 700 m away. The Leipzig Nord motorway junction is also nearby. The University of Leipzig is in the immediate vicinity.
