Our spacious venue is the perfect place for your next performance, class, or workshop within walking distance of the heart of downtown Austin. Whether you?re looking to put on a theater, comedy, or musical performances on our 70+ seating capacity stage, complete with light/sound board and projector capability, or if you?re looking for a centrally located venue to teach a workshop, class, or rehearsal, this space is the ultimate location. Our lobby and foyer are spacious and inviting, with a touch of industrial befitting our basement digs. Our theater has been host to hundreds of performances of all kinds, ranging from local stand-up, improv, and sketch, to hosting international theatrical performances such as Footlights International, to acting as a festival venue for Moontower Comedy and others. We have also hosted product launches for a number of tech firms, galleries and installations for local artists, as well as private parties for corporate events and celebrity shindigs. Our perimeter walls are all concrete and all interior walls are wood/drywall construction. Our ceiling has multiple mounting points for hanging fixtures or art installations. The floor is all concrete throughout the space, and our stage is a raised wooden platform with a wooden back wall. The main lobby and foyer offer a total of 1290 sq ft., with the Theater and Green Room providing an additional 1,110 SF, for a total Rent-able Area of 2400 SF. Partial Rentals of the Lobby and Foyer without the Theater and Green Room are available upon request.
